Merchant Spotlight – Discovery Village

Here at PlaceFull there’s exactly ONE employee who is a mom, and that’s me. Which puts me in a unique position to write about our newest Private Label partner, Discovery Village in Gig Harbor.

discoveryvillage2If my kid would allow it, we’d snuggle on the couch all day and read books or calmly walk through the museum discussing art but, as luck would have it, she’s 4.5 years old and has ants in her pants. Discovery Village is EXACTLY what she needs when the wiggles attack and my house suddenly isn’t big enough for the two of us.

In partnering with PlaceFull you can now buy a Discovery Village membership right from their website. This means that you and your kiddos can take advantage of their outrageous play area 7 days a week without any additional fees PLUS you get discount on purchases from the consignment shop, the cafe, and birthday party packages. Wait, have I not mentioned all the extras yet?!

They have an on-site preschool, drop-off childcare, summer day camps, a cafe with free WiFi , and a selection of birthday parties that will keep your house from being party-central. Awesome! Plus a wicked-rad consignment shop so you can pick up a new outfit for your little one without breaking the bank.

Now…if only I could figure out how to move to Gig Harbor….

Autumn Sakai is PlaceFull’s Mistress of the Blog. She’s a true Seattle native who runs in the rain, takes her kid to to the zoo in the rain, and waits for the bus in the rain. When it’s sunny she slathers on sunscreen and waits for the rain to come back. She loves a good wedding, bakes wicked awesome cookies, and secretly knows all the lyrics to ‘Yentl’. What? Don’t judge.
