“A grandmother came in and commissioned us to do this pie plate as a gift to her grandson, Quinn. 10-year-old Quinn is the family pie-maker and she wanted him to have his very own custom-made pie dish to use for all his future confectionery creations. I thought it was such a sweet idea for a gift, and I could feel the love of their family as I worked on it. I know Quinn and his family will treasure it as the years pass. Usually, people come in and paint their own pottery in our studio, but we are always happy to accept commissions! I love this piece because it represents what I like most about this line of work…causing happiness in people’s lives!” -Kim
