Things To Know, Before You Publish Your Listing…
Turns out, the little things aren’t so little! It’s important to make the most of your listings so folks can book it without concerns. Increase your click-through-rate (CTR) by taking advantage of some of these simple tips.
Use keywords in your title to catch user’s attention. Make sure these keywords are strongly related to the activity of the listing. Don’t forget, your listings will be indexed and displayed in search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo. Spend some time thinking how consumers would search for your listing(s). Generally, it’s a good idea to include your business name (not required though), but remember to keep the entirety of your listing title below 50 characters.

Paint a picture of your listing with creative descriptions- stay within 75 to 175 words. Please use first-person plural when describing your listing(s). I.e. “We’ll provide your group with napkins and plates!”
Here is some content to consider:
1. What does the listing include?
This is the most important part of your description. The customer will not book online unless they are sure about what they are getting. Avoid extra emails and phone calls by spending a little extra time upfront in the details of your description. Trust us, your customer will appreciate it and you will reap the rewards!
2. Describe your setting.
Assume that everyone who clicks on your listing is a new customer, one that has never stepped foot in your business. What makes your business unique over your competitors? Why did you start the company? Be sure to answer any common questions that your customers frequently ask you!
A picture is worth a thousand words. Never is that more true than when trying to sell your listing(s)! We require at least one photo but more is always better. As mentioned above, keep the thought of building a listing for NEW customers. Images are the best way to resonate with your customers.
- Photos should be at least 760×600 pixels wide. Small photos don’t “scale up” and look fuzzy.
- Include a fun caption for your photos but keep it short.
- Images of people smiling and having a great time will yield more clicks

We require you to include a default price for your listing(s). Your pricing is dependent on what you are listing. For example, if you are renting your space we require you to enter per hour pricing. This gives consumers the ability to select the number of hours they wish to rent your space for. However, if you are listing a camp, party or class we require you to enter a per use price because these types of activities typically have a set start and end time. You can use a feature called “Select Pricing” in the listing process to add variations in pricing based on quantity (i.e sibling pricing). It’s also a good idea to make sure that your pricing is competitive with similar businesses in your area.
Expert Tip: During “lean” times you can offer discounted prices or promo codes to drive more business!
Add-ons are what make your space, party, camp or class unique to your customers and allow you to earn additional revenue. Choose from our selection of default add-on options or create your own. The most common add-ons are pizza, hot lunch and balloons.
Newest Feature: Linked Listings
We don’t put a limit on the number of listings you can create. We encourage you to create unique listings for different parties or events you have. More recently we launched a feature called “Linked Listings.”
What are Linked Listings? Let’s assume you only have one space for birthday parties and only one party can occur at a time, but you have several different types of party themes or offerings that are all available at the same time of day. In the past, in order to prevent double bookings, you had to build this all into one listing, which made it complex to an end user. Now, with Linked Listings, the listings talk to each other and update automatically to prevent double bookings, saving you the headache.
