Don’t just list different party packages, create things like camps, classes, memberships, appointments, tickets for special events and more! Pssst… here are a couple of secrets: if you are having trouble getting your creative juices flowing for a new type of listing, go check out competitors’ sites or ask your fans on Facebook. They are both valuable resources for getting feedback and sparking an idea.
Recently we launched a feature called “Linked Listings.” This features prevents double bookings and makes it even easier for you to manage your business.
What are Linked Listings? Let’s assume you only have one space for birthday parties and only one party can occur at a time, but you have several different types of party themes or offerings that are all available at the same time of day. In the past, in order to prevent double bookings, you had to build all your party themes in to one listing or be monitoring your calendar like a hawk. Now, with Linked Listings, the listings talk to each other and update automatically to prevent double bookings, saving you the headache.
How do I get started?
Follow these three simple steps below.
Step 1. Click edit under the listing you want to link
Step 2. Click the green “Edit” button above pricing
Step 3. Scroll down to Linked Listings & click the listing you would like to link to.
That’s it, you’re all done! It’s important to remember that you can link more than one listing to each other, for example if you have Party A, Party B and Party C that are all available on Saturdays from 2-4pm and a customer books Party A, then Party B & C can no longer be booked for that time slot. You can even link different listing categories (i.e party to camps).
