Printable Booking Details – Make Staff More Efficient 

The NEW printable booking details feature gives merchants the ability to have all the important information of their next booking in their hands. Basic information like; date of the booking, name of the person who booked, and how many people are scheduled to be at the booking are all in your grasp, not your computer screen.

Does your business ask extra questions to further enhance the experience of a party or event at the time of booking? If that is the case, all responses to questions and special requests, are printable. Or does your business offer add-ons to your listings? Add-ons and the amount ordered during the booking process are printable with this NEW feature, as well. With information easily accessible, merchants will be able to cater to the needs of individuals easier.

Repeatable Notes on the Calendar – Save You Time

The NEW repeating notes are here to save you time. Merchants can now add notes to the same days every week. Adding a start date and an end date will allow you to extend those notes for as long as you like.

Merchants can offer buy one get one half off deals every Tuesday and Thursday with no hassle to remember to extend that on your calendar. Special events or deals that happen every week will be easier to add, edit, and delete. Set it and forget it.

List-View Description – Enhance Your Customer Search Process

This NEW list-view description feature allows potential customers to read about your available classes or event before ever clicking on the listing. Merchants can give a small detail, or a tag line to hook customers looking at their listings. This feature offers an opportunity to catch the eye of everyone looking at your booking list!

FEATURE RELEASE: Listing Categories, 1 Page Checkout, Auto-Unpublish Listings, and Dashboard Update

The last feature release of 2016 is finally upon us. We are excited to help you get ready for the new year – check out all of the NEW and awesome additions we have in store for you below!

Listing Categories

The NEW Listing Categories feature takes listing customization to the next level – giving merchants the ability to pick and choose what events they want displayed on their calendar and list view. Instead of displaying all events on one calendar or list view, you can now create multiple calendars or lists to add to their website and Facebook.

Does your business offer a variety of party packages? If that is the case, you can now create a list view of all your parties that you have to offer! Or maybe your business offers both kid and adult events? Now you can easily create two separate list views to display all of your categorized events in an organized way for you customer’s viewing.

Auto-unpublish Listings

The NEW Auto-unpublish feature is a sure way to declutter your List View of events. Keep your past and present listings organized and save yourself time weeding through expired listings. With the simple click of a button, turn on the auto-unpublish feature to automatically unpublish listings from your List View when they expire.

1 Page Checkout

We love giving our merchants options! Choose how you want your customers to experience the checkout process. Do you prefer PlaceFull’s traditional checkout made up of a few quick and easy steps? Or would you prefer a one page checkout that displays all steps? The choice is yours!

Dashboard Update

Last but not least – our new and improved dashboard options! The NEW Manage drop-down tab was created to make it easy for you to quickly access the pages you frequent the most. Under the new tab you can find pages such as: Listings, Categories, Booking Questions, and Listing Settings. Click around and check out just how convenient the new layout is!

Merchant of the Month – The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley

About Ashwaubenon

The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley isn’t just your typical bowling alley! Ashwaubenon is a modern day bowling center that provides a great space for their guests and does an amazing job keeping the alley lively by hosting a wide range of fundraisers and special events. When the bowling alley first opened in 1976, they only had 24 lanes. Fast fashwaubenon-home-pageorward 40 years, and the popular hangout now has 60 lanes to accommodate returning guests. As their center grew, so did their need for cutting edge technology and a software solution like PlaceFull’s online reservation system.

PlaceFull and Ashwaubenon united about 11 months ago. Since joining forces, the alley spends less time hanging on the phones, has seen a drastic increase in online reservations, and have been put at ease by the simplicity of PlaceFull. When we spoke to General Manager, Matt Orvis, about his experience using PlaceFull, he couldn’t stress enough about just how easy PlaceFull has made their life.

Lane Management – Done Right!

When asked what Ashwaubenon’s favorite PlaceFull feature is, the answer was a no brainer – Resources! The alley has found that the Resources tool saves them a ridiculous amount of time on managing their lanes because lanes can quotes-12be blocked off for months in advance with a simple click and drag over their PlaceFull business calendar. Because Ashwaubenon always has many different events lined up, the Resources tool has helped them avoid double bookings and block off lanes for special fundraising events and league nights alike! The difference in time that PlaceFull has saved Ashwaubenon since implementing our online booking software is simply night and day!

Valuable Time Saved with Increased Online Reservations

Ashwaubenon has definitely seen an increase in online booking activity since using PlaceFull. The alley actually prefers their customers to place reservations online because of the amount of time it frees up for them. When customers call to place a reservation for open bowl or a birthday party, they redirect customers to their website to place a reservation. Ashwaubenon doesn’t take reservations over the phone for open bowl – they are exclusively placed online. For birthday party reservations, the alley offers an incentive for their customers to book their party online. If a reservation is placed online, the birthday child receives free bowling! Matt explains –

“The money we spend on the birthday child by doing this is easily made up by the time saved on the phones. Depending on the birthday mom, a party reservation could take 5-20 minutes on the phone. If the party is booked online, the reservation information is spelled out nicely for them to understand.”

Not only has the bowling alley seen great results with increased online reservations, but PlaceFull has also opened up their world to add-ons to help increase revenue. About 50% of Ashwaubenon’s customers select add-on options to include with their reservation. Little work is needed on Ashwaubenon’s end to create the add-ons and is well worth giving customers the option to add-on items like a veggie tray or other snacks to have ready for them upon arrival to their reservation.

In the beginning of November, they held their annual fundraiser to give back to the Green Bay homeless shelter and raised an outstanding $175,000! Over the past 18 years of hosting the fundraiser, Ashwaubenon has kindly raised and donated $2 million dollars to the shelter. Matt Orvis, explains the key to their business’s success is the effort they have put forth dabbling in many different areas by hosting all types of different events and leveraging technology solutions like PlaceFull to manage and grow their business.

Bringing Bowling to the Masses

Over the years, bowling alleys have evolved into full-blown “fun for all” entertainment centers. They are now attracting a new crowd with things like full-dining, pool tables, and cocktail lounges, and using technology like online reservation software to rapidly grow their revenue.

Back in the 1960s during its growth peak, interest in bowling was predominately league play which brought in 70% of revenue according to a study from White Hutchinson Leisure and Learning Group in Kansas City. Over the years, league play has decreased – a decline that is now being counteracted by an increase in recreational play.
